The new versatile GramForce® gripper offers all the features expected from the precision-engineered pneumatic products by Airpot. Every movement operates with extremely low friction, ensuring highly accurate force control. The gripper operates without lubrication and can be used across a wide temperature range. Weighing only 205 g, it is exceptionally lightweight. Stainless steel mounting plates allow customer-specific gripper fingers up to 75 mm in length to be installed. Thanks to its symmetrical design and synchronized closing mechanism, it delivers consistent gripping force in any mounting position. This makes the GramForce® gripper an exceptionally versatile solution for a wide range of applications.

Even when handling extremely fragile, soft, delicate, or sensitive components, this impressive gripper enables precise and secure gripping, holding, and positioning. It is ideally suited for the precise assembly of components, testing and measuring equipment, as a gripping tool on robotic arms, for handling small parts, and for highly delicate machine movements.
What Are Your Advantages?
Inside the GramForce® gripper are two extremely low-friction pneumatic cylinders, each only 5.6 mm in diameter, powered by our Airpel® Plus technology, which drive the gripper’s movement.
The moving slides are mounted on a precision IKO linear guide made of stainless steel. Only very low operating pressures of 0.02 MPa to 0.7 MPa are required, yet precise holding forces from as little as 0.25 N up to a strong 8.6 N can be achieved.
The gripper is suitable for cleanroom applications. Its compact, space-saving design stands out with its lightweight construction and allows easy mounting on either of the two side surfaces or on the underside of the housing. The versatile mounting plates make it easy to attach custom-designed clamps or jaws.

General Information
– The gripper requires clean, dry, and lubricant-free air
– A coalescing filter is required to remove particles of one micron or smaller
– It is recommended to use a particulate filter after the coalescing filter
