Our History at a Glance

How It All Began:

Airpot Corp. developed the unique Airpot® air damper in the early 1950s. The damper is known for its extremely low friction, long service life, and outstanding reliability. This performance is based on a unique material combination of a graphite piston and a Pyrex glass cylinder.

Company Founded:

In the late 1970s, we began our collaboration with Airpot Corp. In 1978, we founded what is now Köhr Handels GmbH and were appointed as the official distributor for Germany. In 1994, Airpot Corp. expanded its portfolio with the Airpel® pneumatic cylinder, which operates on the same principle as the Airpot® — delivering ultra-low friction with anti-stiction performance.

Today, we serve more than 1,000 satisfied customers across Europe.
